Many residents of Cebu Island were left shocked after a powerful 6.9-magnitude earthquake struck Bogo City on Tuesday night.
Slater Young assured fans that he is safe following the powerful 6.9-magnitude earthquake that struck Cebu Island late Tuesday night.
In an Instagram Story, Young shared that he and his family were doing well despite the strong tremor that rattled homes across the province.
“ Thank you for all the messages and well wishes. The family is all okay from the earthquake last night.” he noted.
“Praying for our fellow Cebuanos and everyone else affected from the quake.”

The earthquake, which had its epicenter near Bogo City in northern Cebu, caused significant damage to infrastructure, power outages, and building collapses.
As of the latest reports, at least 26 people have been confirmed dead and dozens injured. Authorities also recorded multiple aftershocks, prompting classes and work suspensions in several municipalities. A tsunami warning was briefly raised but later lifted after no unusual wave activity was detected.
Despite the devastation, many Cebuanos, including Slater, took to social media to update loved ones and share words of hope as recovery efforts continue.
Slater is married to lifestyle content creator Kryz and since tying the knot in 2019 they have been blessed with three children namely, Scott Knoa, Seven Kai, and Saxon Kent.
