Sheena Halili straight-out admitted on social media that taking care of a baby is no walk in the park.

Yes, Sheena and her husband Atty. Jeron Manzanero felt immense happiness when they welcomed Martina Candice into their lives on December 12, 2020.

But a month after giving birth, first-time mom Sheena Halili realized that it really takes hard work to raise a baby.

In a series of posts via Instagram Story, the StarStruck graduate shared that she is having a hard time to make Baby Martina to stop crying.

“May mga gabi na nahihirapan rin ako na patahanin si Martina.

“Minsan 1-2 hours ako nag-hehele sa kanya. Dede, burp, helo pero iiyak pa rin.

“Palit ng diaper, massage tummy, iyak pa rin. Siguro, nararamdaman niya 'yung stress at pagod ko kaya madalas ipapasa ko siya sa mommy ko.”

“Pero madalas BURP at UTOT ang problema at parang nalulunod na siya sa milk ko kaya kailangan ko mag-pump muna.

“Anak, tahan na.”

The versatile actress also took time to thank those who personally sent her direct messages to help her out.

She posted, “Salamat sa mommies nag-DM sakin dami ko natutunan at alam ko di ako nag-iisa.”

First month of Baby Martina

Back in June 2020, the Manzanero couple confirmed to the public that they are having a baby. The following month, they revealed it's a girl.

It was no easy feat for Sheena, because just like many other moms who gave birth in 2020, she had to grapple with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mommy Sheena gave birth to Martina, 10 months after her much-talked about wedding with Jeron in February 2020.

The event was a star-studded affair with many notable personalities attending the ceremony, which include: Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo, Julius Babao, Christine Babao, and Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez- Alcasid.

Yesterday, the Manzanero family marked the first month of Baby Martina with a cute and dreamy-photoshoot.

Did you know that Martina was named after her late lolo Candido Halili?

Jeron told this trivia on Instagram saying, “December 12 is also the birthday of the lolo of your mommy! His name was Candido Halili. He was one of your mommy's heroes--a great man who is watching over us from heaven. That's why we decided to name you after him!”
