Sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda nitong Huwebes, June 18, ibinahagi ni Small na isang kaibigan ni Philip ang involved sa naturang isyu at meron silang negosyong itinayo noong 2018 - 2019.
“But when the friend decided to run for politics, they agreed not to continue with the business. They closed that company so wala talagang negosyong nangyari,” sabi ni Small.
Dagdag pa ng content creator, “Ewan ko nga, Tito Boy, bakit naiintriga 'yung flood control. Sobrang not, sobrang no.”
January pa lang ay nagbigay na ng pahayag ang DivinaLaw, ang law firm na kumakatawan sa pamilya ni Small, kung saan dinismis nila ang mga alegasyon kay Philip.
“We categorically and unequivocally deny any insinuation that Philip Laude has ever been involved in any illegal activity, whether by himself or in collaboration with any other person,” sabi nila sa statement.
Pagpapatuloy nito, “Mr. Laude is a private businessman with a long-standing record of lawful and legitimate enterprise. At no time has he engaged in, participated in, and benefited from, or facilitated any illegal transaction, scheme, or activity -- directly or indirectly.”
