Taeyeon

Taeyeon is dropping new music real soon.

SM Entertainment confirmed on Tuesday (January 11) that Girls' Generation's Taeyeon is releasing her highly anticipated full-length studio album in February.

To tease her upcoming record, the “Weekend” songstress is slated to drop a pre-release single titled “Can't Control Myself” on Monday, January 17.

As a soloist, Taeyeon is known for her hits “Fine,” “What Do I Call You,” and “11:11.” She launched her career as a K-pop idol in August 2007 when she debuted under Girls' Generation, commonly known as SNSD.

More recently, she joined SM Entertainment's all-female supergroup, GOT the beat, as part of the company's Girls On Top project. Aside from her, the star-studded ensemble is composed of fellow Girls' Generation member Hyoyeon, Red Velvet's Wendy and Seulgi, aespa's Winter and Karina, and BoA.

The seven-piece group debuted their first single “Step Back” on the entertainment giant's free live concert, "SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU EXPRESS@KWANGYA," in early January.
