Sofia Mallares

An A+ performance for Project Z's Kween Birit! Sofia Mallares took the stage to soaring emotional heights, as her heartfelt rendition of The Prayer carried her all the way to becoming the Grand Winner of The Voice Kids 2025.

Dubbed the Kween Birit ng Pasig City and under the mentorship of coach Zack Tabudlo, Sofia's voice echoed louder than ever as she garnered the highest number of public votes online during the show's live finale on Sunday, December 14.

The Voice Kids stage turned into a night of pure vocal excellence from Sofia and her fellow grand finalists, Yana Goopio of Team Bilib under Billy Crawford, Marian Ansay of Julesquad with Julie Anne San Jose, and Giani Sarita of Benkada under Ben&Ben. Together, they delivered show-stopping performances, both in their solo numbers and collaborations with their coaches.

Indeed, Sofia's prayer was heard. From the blind auditions, she had already proven her star power after earning a four-chair turn from the coaches with her soulful rendition of Ako Naman Muna. As she advanced through the battles and sing-offs, sealed her spot in the semi-finals, and ultimately emerged as a grand finalist and Project Z representative, Sofia showcased remarkable versatility and artistry at such a young age.

In a social media post, coach Zack reflected on his own journey, recalling that 11 years ago, he was also a young contestant with a dream. Last night, he returned as Sofia's winning coach, prouder than ever.

As the Grand Winner of The Voice Kids, Sofia received a one-million-peso cash prize and a recording and management contract with UMG Philippines, Inc.

Indeed, The Voice Kids continues to be a powerful platform for young voices ready to rise and be heard on the singing stage. Congratulations, Sofia Mallares!
