The “Strong-Willed Sunshine of Quezon City,” Sofia Pablo, is overflowing with gratitude following her eviction from 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.'
On Sunday, February 1, Sparkle actress Sofia Pablo took to Instagram to share a message of thanks after the eviction night last Saturday, January 31.
Sofia exited Big Brother's house alongside Kapamilya housemate Eliza Borromeo after they both received the lowest number of votes among the nominees that week.
In her post, she expressed her initial hesitation about entering the house, but highlighted how she faced those fears with one specific goal: to introduce her true self to the world.
Sofia wrote in her caption: “99 days fe one goal - ipakita sa mundo kung sino talaga ako. Nung una, natatakot akong pumasok sa PBB. Hindi ko alam kung mauunawaan ako ng tao.”
“Pero pinili kong harapin yung takot na yon at bigyan ang sarili ko ng chance. Chance na baka, sa pagpasok ko sa bahay ni Kuya, mas makilala ako ng mundo - at makita nila kung sino talaga ako,” she continued.
She also shared that upon entering Big Brother's house, she carried with her the commitment to be true and authentic, expressing that she remained true to herself until the very end.
“Pagpasok ko sa bahay ni Kuya, I made a promise to myself— na papanindigan ko ang katotohanan ko. At yun ang ginawa ko. Nagpakatotoo ako sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya,” Sofia said.
Sofia also expressed her gratitude to the two networks, GMA and ABS-CBN, as well as to Pinoy Big Brother and Sparkle GMA Artist Center, for providing her the “space” to prove herself.
“Maraming salamat sa PBB, GMA, ABS-CBN, at Sparkle GMA Artist Center for giving me the space to show who I truly am,” she said.
She also thanked Big Brother for everything she learned during her stay inside his house.
“Maraming salamat po, Kuya, sa paggabay, sa pag-unawa, at sa mga paalalang kailangan kong magtiwala sa sarili ko,” Sofia wrote.
“Sa loob ng BNK, I learned how to understand others more, to trust, and to believe in myself,” she added.
Sofia also thanked her fellow housemates for all the experience she shared with them inside the Big Brother's house. She expressed her gratitude to them, noting that they were the ones who helped her bring out her true self.
“To my housemates — sobrang thank you sa inyo. A Kayo yung naging dahilan kung bakit nailabas ko yung totoong ako sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya,” she wrote.
She continued, “Thank you for all the laughs, the conversations, and even the difficult moments. I couldn't have been luckier to be blessed with friends like you guys.”
The young actress also extended her gratitude to her family and friends for their unwavering support.
“To my family and friends — thank you so much. Kayo yung naging strength ko when things felt heavy. You reminded me why I started and why I should keep going,” she said.
She also extended her gratitude to everyone who supported her throughout her journey inside Big Brother's house and for giving her the opportunity to prove herself.
“At sa lahat ng naniwala, sumuporta, at naglaan ng oras para kilalanin ako — maraming salamat. Thank you for the love, the trust, and for giving me the chance to introduce myself again,” Sofia wrote.
Sofia concluded her post with a statement that she has fulfilled her purpose of showing the world who she truly is.
“I can say that I've fulfilled my purpose — to show the world who I really am. Maraming salamat,” Sofia expressed.
