Sofia Trazona, the firstborn of former SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona, recently shared her take on her stepfather Alvin Aragon's comment about the controversial “nag-iinit” remark of Quezon City Rep. Bong Suntay about It's Showtime host Anne Curtis.
In an Instagram post, Alvin urged Filipino men to protect their wives by encouraging them to “dress modestly,” saying that lust can be triggered by revealing clothes.
“Kahit hindi si Anne ang tinitignan mo ng may pagnanasa, may mag iinit sa loob mo. Lalo na kapag nakalabas pa ang cleavage mo at legs,” he said.
“Kaya Filipino men protect your wife, may “Sin of lust” kasi, and Filipino women dress modestly to avoid sexual desire. Kasi nga may Sin of lust,” he urged.
He also emphasized that only Jesus can help overcome lust and sin.
The drag star was among those who quickly reacted to Alvin's comment, noting that this kind of thinking is a form of disrespect toward women.
“Ang dumi mag isip ah. Walang respeto sa babae,” Sofia wrote as she quoted Alvin's comment on her social media.
She also posted a video of herself dancing with the caption, “Crop top tayo, dedma sa madumi mag-isip.”
Previously, during the House Committee on Justice's Tuesday deliberations, Suntay defended Vice President Sara Duterte's previous remark about “imagining” harming President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. by drawing a comparison to his own experience.
Following this suggestive sexual remark, many celebrities, including Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Gabbi Garcia, Nadine Lustre, Angel Locsin, Bianca Gonzales, and others, reacted and shared their opinions, calling out Suntay.
