Sofronio Vasquez, grand champion of 'The Voice US', recorded his first official OST with a new rendition of "Tadhana" for 'The Secrets of Hotel 88'.
Sofronio Vasquez, the grand champion of The Voice USA, said he feels blessed to record his own rendition of "Tadhana", originally performed by Up Dharma Down.
Sofronio's version of the iconic track serves as the official soundtrack of GMA and ABS-CBN collab series The Secrets of Hotel 88. On It's Showtime on Wednesday, the singer performed “Tadhana” as part of the program's opening number.
“I am just so blessed to perform and to have a version or rendition of that song kasi very iconic siya. And now, napapakinggan ko na 'yung boses ko sa teleserye. First OST ko,” Vasquez said.
“Napapakinggan n'yo po ngayon, I hope you continue to stream "Tadhana" from The Secrets of Hotel 88. OST po siya and it became No. 1 sa iTunes so sana suportahan n'yo po,” he added.
Aside from this milestone, Sofronio is also one of the judges of "Tawag ng Tanghalan". He is also gearing up for upcoming performances in the Philippines, including the Maestroclass Concert Series (What's It All About: Celebrating The Music of Burt Bacharach) this May.
The Secrets of Hotel 88 is available on GMA Prime and can be streamed seven days in advance on iWant. It is also accessible via Kapuso Stream, GTV, GMA Pinoy TV, and TFC.
