Solenn Heussaff on abstaining from intimacy: “I'm a little bit scared and I'm not yet ready.”
Kapuso actress-TV host Solenn Heussaff got candid about her sex life with husband Nico Bolzico on her latest YouTube vlog.
According to the actress, her decision links back to having given birth to Baby Thylane Katana via cesarean section last January 1, 2020.
“I was C-sectioned. I don't know if it's subconsciously in my head,” she said.
“But we are chopped down there from nine different layers. So, I'm still a little bit scared and I'm not yet ready to be quite honest.”
Adding that it's been “quite a while” since she's been romantic with her husband.
Nico remains supportive of his wife's decision.
The Argentinan businessman explained, “For me after the women gave birth, it's on them.
"We need to wait for as long as they need because we didn't go through pregnancy. We support their pregnancy.
“So, they are the bosses. If they want to go back into the action, we should be ready.
“If they want to wait, you should be ready.
"If they are ready and then decided to stop, we should be ready.
"If you want to go in a different direction as compared to before, we should be ready.
“I'm ready, I'm waiting, and I'm not in a rush.”
Aside from their sex life, Solenn and Nico also discussed how Thylane had become the best thing that happened in their marriage.
The celebrity mom said, “Having a kid doesn't ruin your life. It adds a different branch.
"I have learned so much from being a mom. I have learned a new side of me that I didn't know before.
“I can't remember life without my child and I'm the happiest I could be right now because of my child.
“It changes your plans, yes. It changes logistics in your life, yes. But it doesn't ruin anything.”
Meanwhile, Nico added, “It's the opposite. It doesn't ruin your life but it makes your life a thousand times better.
"I mean, we're enjoying life at a level that we never had before since having Thylane.
“The most important thing about having a child is making you a better person.
"It makes you more humble, it shifts your priorities, and you see the world in a different eye.
"You want a better world not only for you but for your child.”
