Solenn Heussaff revealed, “There is a lot you go through people don't always talk about.”

Solenn Heussaff shared something personal about mental health and why people should prioritize it.

According to Solenn's post, her pregnancy with Thylane is the best experience. However, there are some things that she didn't tell people about--her mental health.

Solenn revealed in her Instagram post what happened when she experienced postpartum.

“Though pregnancy is the best thing I have experienced, there is a lot you go through people don't always talk about. Postpartum. AKA your mental health and state.”

The talented actress admitted that there were times that she did not want to look at herself. There were also moments when she preferred to be alone.

“I couldn't look at myself in the mirror, didn't want people to come visit me, wanted to diet but couldn't because feeding my baby was a priority, being conscious about the dark spots on my tummy, the way my armpits looked, feeling useless because no matter how much I ate my baby was crying from hunger because of my low milk supply and the list goes on.”

Solenn said a person can only fully understand how she felt if they go through the same thing.

No one truelly understands it unless they go through it. All of these feelings are normal but I hated myself for feeling this way because I felt I was being selfish. Mental health is real, and it is important to talk to people about how you feel and to be ok with it. YOU are important. In light with this I am inviting you guys to have a look at @isabelledaza ' s Parenteam Real Talks on this matter. @wyethparenteamph

For Solenn, mental health should be one of the top priorities. It should be discussed as everyone is important.

"May mga days na okay naman at may mga days na hindi okay. I think that's all part of this 2020."

She added, "Marami akong natutunan sa sarili ko. May mga days na medyo down...May mga ups and downs, I think like everyone, unexpected year para sa ating lahat."
