Solenn Heussaff explains why her daughter Baby Thylane watches Spanish and French cartoons.
Kapuso actress Solenn Heussaff shared why her daughter Thylane Bolzico is currently learning to use four languages, Filipino, English, French, and Spanish.
On her Instagram Story, Solenn answered why Baby Thylane only watches cartoons in French or Spanish:
Solenn explained, "[Thylane] hears English everyday with everyone so she will learn it fast.
"She hears Tagalog everyday at home and with family, so it will come naturally just like English.
"[She will learn] French only with me and my dad. [She will learn] Spanish only with Nico.
"So she needs more exposure with both languages.
"And when she watches in Spanish, I get to learn too. So I'm not sure if she will identify all languages OR think all 4 are 1 haha.
"Anyways read in many books, the more languages you expose a baby to, the better."
Solenn is Filipina-French while husband Nico Bolzico is Argentine.
The couple tied the knot in Esperanza, Argentina in 2015.
In May 2016, the couple held their church wedding at the Eglise Notre Dame in Combourg, France.
Solenn and Nico welcomed their daughter Thylane in January 2020.
