
South Korean actor Son Suk-ku is stepping away from the spotlight to take time for rest and reflection.
According to Sports Seoul, the My Liberation Notes actor revealed that he realized the need for a break after years of non-stop work on multiple projects.
"I'm still working without resting, but I plan to take quite a long break after finishing what I've already taken on," he expressed.
The South Korean actor also shared that while he has learned a lot from staying constantly busy, he now feels it is time to focus on "more meaningful expressions".
Following the success of his recent projects, he expressed a desire to slow down and further explore his creativity. He revealed that he has recently begun working on a screenplay, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his journey.
Even as he stepped away from the spotlight, the actor made sure to thank his fans for their constant and unwavering support.
"Whether they liked my work or not, if they watched, they're my number one fans," he said.
Suk-ku is known for his roles in D.P, My Liberation Notes, A Killer Paradox, Heavenly Ever After, and Nine Puzzles.
