Korean media reports clarified that the Itaewon house being demolished is not the Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's newlywed house.
After reports circulated online that former married couple Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's newlywed home is being demolished, Korean media Osen clarified that the said house in Itaewon district, Seoul, South Korea is Song Joong Ki's privately owned house. The former couple never lived there together.
Following Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's wedding in October 2017, the pair were rumored to be moving into the Itaewon house, but no reports confirmed that they actually lived there.
According to reports from Osen and Koreaboo, Song Joong Ki's Itaewon house has been approved for demolition and reconstruction.
Meanwhile, Sports Chosun announced Song Joong Ki has purchased a luxurious $2.88 million apartment in Hawaii.
Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo separated in September 2018 after more than a year of marriage.
