The long wait is over! GTV's new sports show Rise Up Stronger: The Road to NCAA Season 96 will make its debut this coming Sunday, May 23.
Equally excited as the NCAA fans are the show's hosts, sportscaster-analyst Martin Javier and beauty queen-actress Sophia Senoron.
Martin and Sophia were formally introduced as hosts via the news program 24 Oras last Friday, May 14.
With the secret now out in the open, Martin took to Instagram to express his thoughts on the upcoming program dedicated to everything about the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
“To be honest, I never thought I'd get to do this again, but here we are,” Martin, who covered the league in the past as an analyst, wrote on Instagram.
“This is such a huge opportunity. It's an honor to resume my career with the league that trusted me first. Can't wait to share with you guys what we've been working on for the past few weeks.”
Sophia, meanwhile, is simply glad that the country's premier collegiate athletic league is finally back after an extended break because of the pandemic.
“I'm so happy to finally announce that NCAA Season 96 is on its way after almost two years and I will be one of your hosts for the program. As an alumna of the NCAA it feels so good to be back,” wrote Sophia, who studied at San Beda University.
