Sophie Albert and Vin Abrenica marked their second wedding anniversary by going on an adventure in Batangas.
Showbiz couple Sophie Albert and Vin Abrenica decided to take things slow and enjoy a quiet trip to the south of Manila by exploring Batangas on their second wedding anniversary.
The Mga Lihim ni Urduja actor took to Instagram to describe their celebration. Vin posted, “No gifts, no grand plans. Just us, just love. Here's to 2 years of marriage and a lifetime more.”
Meanwhile, in a vlog documenting their trip, Sophie admitted that they almost forgot that it was their anniversary.
“We actually didn't realize that it was our anniversary today. We only realized it when we were here na yesterday. So yeah, that's how we are going to celebrate,” she said.
Vin also interjected that the provinces south of the National Capital Region have its own unique charm.
He explained, “Dito mo makikita kung gaano na kaganda ang Batangas na masyado natin hindi napapansin. Lagi natin naiisip siyempre 'yung sa mga north, like let's say Baguio, La Union. But the people from the South alam n'yo naman, what I'm talking about, Cavite, Laguna, Tagaytay area, Batangas, and Lipa [City]. It's beautiful!"
The two tied the knot at the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Paranaque City on January 25, 2023.
In November 2024, Sophie announced that she had given birth to their second child Amara Kristina. Their eldest Avianna Celeste was born in March 2021 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
