But iGMA found out that apart from the same pretty face, Ryza Cenon and LJ Reyes also share similar talents and even the same dreams. Text by KC M. Abalos. Photos by Jason Lim and Mitch S. Mauricio. Ever since StarStruck Season II, Ryza Cenon and LJ Reyes have had to convince people that they are not blood related. But it would surprise their fans to know that the two only really got to know each other after the first artista search that made them both winners and eventually, famous. "Naging close kami after na ng StarStruck kasi inaaway niya ko palagi!" LJ said with a teasing smile. To this Ryza replied, "kasi the more you hate the more you love!" And the two giggle like school girls. Of course, what LJ said was a joke. The two have always been good buddies but they only got the chance to deepen their friendship when they played twins in their first series in a season of Love to Love. It was not hard for the two to get along. Born only four days apart, they almost share the same birthday. They definitely share the same likes and dislikes. Both are good young actors. Both have been in a successful love team and both have pursued solo careers since their initial foray as twins on an afternoon series. Giggly Girls Lj shares, "Pareho kami dancers. Lalaking laki yan, breakdance!" Ryza could not help replying that if she dances like a guy, then LJ dances like an exotic dancer. In the middle of the interview, Ryza showed iGMA how LJ dances "exotically". We thought LJ would get mad, but no! LJ gamely says, "hindi ganyan! Ganito!" Of course, that part of the chat, you, our readers, unfortuantely, can only imagine. Again, after the short show, the girls gave their giggles. Speaking of sexy, since they have slowly matured as actresses over the years, we asked if they have any plans of following that particular route. We know for a fact that both have been actively courted by men's magazines to pose for them. "Nakaka-flatter pero sa ngayon hindi pa ako ready," LJ states. All the while, Ryza is nodding her head and saying, "ako din, hindi pa." iGMA then asked the two if they could interview each other, what would they ask? LJ: Do you love me? Ryza: I love you so much! Hmm, it seems we will not be able to get a serious answer this way! So, let us go back to how we usually do things. iGMA: Can you reveal a secret about each other? Ryza: Umm, meron ako! Siya po yung nawawala kong kapatid! LJ: Reveal ko sa inyo 'yung nagpapasaya kay Ryza. Ako! Again, we were subjected to adorable fits of the giggles. But we had to try to get a serious answer one more time! iGMA: Have you ever had a crush on the same guy? LJ: Same crush? Siya po ang taste ko! Si Ryza! Ryza: Magkaiba kami ng taste! Gusto mo pagusapan? (Looking at LJ with a twinkle in her eye.) LJ: Hindi! And the secret stays between the two friends. So much for serious! But at least we tried. In the course of the interview it also became quite apparent that while the two young actresses might have much in common, they are still individuals with their own strengths and personalities.
