GTV brings to us Doctor John, a medical drama that will let you in on a startling plot twist into the lives of medical professionals.
Top-rating South-Korean medical series “Doctor John” is set to make waves on Philippine television starting March 7, 2022.
Top-billed by award-winning actor Ji Sung, the show also casts Korean stars Lee Se-young, Lee Kyu-Hyung and Hwang Hee.
Ji Sung plays the role of genius physician Doctor John, an anesthesiologist famous for figuring out a patient's condition within the first 10 seconds of diagnosis. As he was gaining fame with his paramount skills, he then encounters a patient who changes his entire life.
Meanwhile, Sylvia, played by Lee Se-young, is also an anesthesiology resident. A smart and naturally affectionate woman, she meets Doctor John under very odd circumstances. Eventually, they both find comfort in each other as they try to find escape from their dark pasts.
On the other hand, Lee Kyu-hyung plays Samuel, a prosecutor in pursuit of justice for something in connection with Doctor John while Hwang Hee is Hector, also a doctor who eventually learns from the genius physician.
How will fate unravel their mysteries?
“Doctor John” will air from 2:00-2:45 pm replacing “Moon Embracing the Sun” on GTV.
