Ever since they were launched as Sparkada earlier this year, Sparkle's newest batch of young and promising stars have gone on to explore various fields in the industry such as acting, performing, and hosting to further hone their talents.

Thanks to their eloquence, quick-thinking on live TV, and infectious bubbly personalities, three members of Sparkada, namely, Roxie Smith, Anjay Anson, and Caitlyn Stave, have been bringing smiles and sending us good vibes every morning on Unang Hirit as part of the show's “UH Funliners” segment.

As a testament to her beauty pageant background and training, Sparkada stunner Roxie Smith is prepared to face anything the world throws at her. In one of her “UH Funliners” episodes, Roxie had to get her ear pierced on the spot and she took it like a champ!

"We're called Funliners and we travel a lot and we bring fun sa umaga ng mga tao.

"At first, nahirapan ako[ng] mag-adjust in terms of 'yung sleeping time dapat super aga pero masaya naman kasi parang ang haba ng araw. Grateful kami kasi ang saya ng adventures. The kinds of things they make us do, super random.

"Sometimes we would only know the challenges the day itself so andami kong nagawa, nag-dance ako on the spot, nagpa-pierce ako on the spot, nagpaligo ako ng lion on the spot! So gusto ko 'yung mga ganoon, surprises, and gusto ko 'yung nagshe-share ng energy tuwing umaga," Roxie said in a media conference together with her fellow Sparkada.

For many, Anjay Anson has become a morning happy pill of sorts for avid viewers of the morning news and talk show. You know you'll have a good day ahead once you're greeted with Anjay's bright smile and positive vibes. As much as he has brought a lot of smiles to Unang Hirit audiences, the young actor and host has also found joy in doing his job.

"Ang gaan ng work pagka-katrabaho ko sila. Actually lahat din ng ka-work ko sa Unang Hirit, ang gaan po sobra. Nakikipagchikahan lang kami, ang saya lang sa feeling. Tapos every morning, good mood lang. And kahit din 'yung mga cameraman and ibang prod [staff] na [nandoon], sobrang gaan nila katrabaho, lagi lang kaming nagkukulitan. Ang saya talaga, kahit minsan madaling araw na kami kino-call, okay lang sa'kin kasi once na nandoon na kami sa mismong location, nawawala na lahat ng antok, ng pagod," he said.

One of his most memorable “UH Funliners” segments was when he had to conquer his fear of heights riding a 360-degrees swing.

While she doesn't get to appear on “UH Funliners” quite as often as Roxie and Anjay, the few times Caitlyn Stave does go on the show, the actress admits that she has a blast doing it. With her energetic and happy-go-lucky personality, Caitlyn is surely the perfect fit to be one of the 'Unang Hirit' hosts. In one of her guestings, she recalled getting to play with baby tigers and milking cows which she enjoyed as an animal lover herself.

Aside from Roxie, Anjay, and Caitlyn, they are also joined by fellow Sparkle stars Kaloy Tincungco and Jenzel Angeles as “UH Funliners.” Our mornings are made extra bright and happy thanks to these five young stars as the hosts of 'Unang Hirit' “UN Funliners.”
