Sparkle and GMA Kapuso Foundation


Kapuso, stay vigilant and always verify information.

Sparkle GMA Artist Center and GMA Kapuso Foundation have issued statements about fake individuals pretending to be Sparkle executives and employees soliciting donations.

Both organizations warned netizens about these online scams through their official social media accounts. In Sparkle's post, they stated, "Sparkle GMA Artist Center is warning the public against unscrupulous individuals pretending to be Sparkle executives and employees who solicit funds and donations for the GMA Kapuso Foundation."

The center emphasized as well, "Sparkle will never contact you directly to ask for money. We advise the public to stay vigilant and not to respond and provide any personal information to these individuals."

GMA Kapuso Foundation also warned netizens about text messages or chats soliciting donations using GMA's name. They clarified, "Tanging sa Kapusong Totoo ng 24 Oras at sa GMA Kapuso Foundation OFFICIAL social media accounts at GMA Kapuso Foundation website lang makikita ang mga lehitimong paraan para magdonate."

Previously, Sparkle warned netizens about unauthorized recruitment and audition activities. The artist center reminded everyone to avoid these scams and to rely solely on their official channels for legitimate updates.
