Due to the upcoming strong typhoon expected to hit Japan this weekend, the “Sparkle Goes to Japan” event has been postponed.

Sparkle has announced that “Sparkle Goes to Japan” is postponed.

Sparkle posted on its social media platforms that the shows in Japan on August 31 and September 1 have been postponed due to the anticipated strong typhoon.

"Advisory: Due to the strong typhoon forecast expected to impact Japan this weekend, the #SparkleWorldTour shows scheduled for August 31 and September 1 are postponed. We'll announce the new dates soon.

To our Global Pinoys, stay safe and we look forward to seeing you soon!"

"We regret to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to postpone, 'BALIK SAYA, SUPER SAYA WITH SPARKLE' event originally scheduled for August 31-September 1 due to the strong typhoon forecast, TYPHOON SHANSHAN (Typhoon No. 10), which is expected to make landfall in Japan this weekend,” the statement read.

“For the safety of all performers, sponsors, and attendees, the new dates for the event have yet to be finalized. We will keep you posted on future developments and announce the rescheduled dates as soon as they are confirmed. Please stay tuned for further updates and announcements. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
