
Sparkle artists Yza Uy, Ronnie Liang, and Tala Gatchalian took part in the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center's Women's Month celebration, “Pansariling Pag-unlad at Kabuhayan sa mga Kababaihan 2026,” held at Camp Colonel V. Luna.
Yza Uy, also known as Ms. Chinatown, served as a guest speaker and talked about self-development and resilience before an audience of soldiers, doctors, nurses, and civilian leaders.
Tala Gatchalian, singer-songwriter and Tanghalan ng Kampeon Season 2 Grand Champion, performed for the crowd, while Ronnie Liang—a singer-actor, licensed pilot, and Army Reservist Officer with the rank of First Lieutenant—also took the stage.
Fellow Sparkle GMA Artist Center artists Shuvee Etrata, known as the Nation's Darling, and Eman Bacosa Pacquiao also sent video messages of encouragement. Shuvee appears in the film Huwag Kang Titingin and is one of the stars of the upcoming teleserye Master Cutter, while Eman is part of the teleserye Never Say Die.
The Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center expressed its appreciation to the Sparkle artists for their participation, noting that their presence and engagement uplifted the morale of its women personnel and underscored the importance of empowerment, resilience, and self-development, making the celebration more meaningful for all participants.
