It was not just a glamorous night during the GMA Gala 2025 Partners' Night held in Pasay City last Thursday, July 24.

The pre-GMA Gala dinner became an opportunity for Sparkle GMA Artist Center and its talents to extend support to the victims of the recent calamity thru the generous donations they were able to collate.

GMA Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and Sparkle Vice President Joy Marcelo turned over to the GMA Kapuso Foundation a total of Php 2.5 million, which is a significant amount as they provide aid to our Kapuso who were affected by torrential rains recently.

Atty. Annette Gozon told 24 Oras, “Ginawa natin 'tong Sponsors night for the benefit of Kapuso Foundation.

“All the proceeds at least two million na ang nalikom natin tonight ay mapupunta, particularly for the calamity victims.”

Representing GMA Kapuso Foundation was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Rikki Escudero-Catibog who said that this amount will be a great help as they prepare for their relief operations in the coming days.

“Naghahanda na rin ang GMA Kapuso Foundation ng mga relief operations ngayong weekend. Thank you to all of the sponsors and donors of Sparkle tonight, dahil talagang you lent wonderful meaning to this evening,” Rikki stated on Chika Minute.

Meanwhile, Sang'gre stars Angel Guardian and Kelvin Miranda were pleased that they were able to attend such an event because it was a night with a purpose.

Angel shared, “Nakakatuwa na pumunta dito knowing na merong purpose 'yung pagpunta.”

Meanwhile, Kelvin added, “Masaya ako na naging parte ako nito at personal din makapagpasalamat bilang presensya sa mga major sponsors natin.”

The most-awaited event in Philippine show business, the GMA Gala 2025, is happening on August 2.
