It's time to prepare for the biggest and star-studded race event of the year, as the Sparkle Run 2026 registration is now open.

This much-awaited sport event is brought to you by GMA Network, spearheaded by Sparkle GMA Artist Center and in partnership with RUNRIO as race organizer and the Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila as venue partner.

On May 30, Kapuso fans and race enthusiasts can register in five different race categories. The race will begin in the historic Quirino Grandstand and participants will get to explore some of Manila's iconic spots as they traverse the planned race route.

During an interview at the contract signing of Sparkle Run 2026 held last February 5, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes - GMA Network Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group; President of GMA Films - said that she hopes this premiere race event to be a way for GMA-7 to promote health and wellness among Filipinos.

She explained, “Gusto natin i-promote rin ang health and wellness dito sa Sparkle. At marami talaga tayong artists and influencers na into fitness. Ayan na nga si Alden [Richards], sila Barbie [Forteza], sila Aira, sila Kristoffer [Martin]. So, excited sila and excited kami to show sa mga tao na we have to take care of our health and I'm very happy na ka-partner natin dito ang City of Manila.”
