Get a dose of soothing OPM music this Wednesday afternoon on GMA Playlist, just in time for the holidays, with Adie Garcia.

For the uninitiated, Adie is a newly signed O/C Records artist who rose to fame after his covers of such hits as Miley Cyrus' "When I Look At You," Justin Bieber's "Mistletoe," and AJ Rafael's "She Was Mine," went viral online.

His acoustic covers of popular contemporary songs were originally uploaded on SoundCloud and YouTube where he gained a following. Eventually he was discovered by O/C Records, who signed him for a recording contract.

O/C Records is a record label under Callalily frontman Kean Cipriano along with Viva Entertainment's Vic del Rosario and Kapuso actress Chynna Ortaleza. The music label proudly introduced Adie back in August as one of their newest talents.

O/C Records wrote about Adie on their Instagram, "He knows his way around the small nuances of music along with its purpose and importance as an art form that he expresses in both his composed and produced music that he shares to the world and compels people to listen to him meaningfully. Adie's captivating voice and likeliness to former One Direction member Zayn Malik caught the attention of American Radio station Capital FM soon after his One Direction mash-up recording trended on Twitter.

The mash-up was heard by the station's disk jockeys and garnered interest on the internet. Adie's mash-up had Zayn Malik's solo parts from One Direction songs like "Night Changes", "Little Things", "You & I", "Story Of My Life", "Live While We're Young," and "One Thing".

Capital FM wrote on their website, "A Zayn Malik voice-alike has been discovered and we can't get over the similarity!" The article also showed comments from netizens on Twitter, praising Adie's singing.
