
The Philippine sports community was shocked over the news that Philippine Basketball Associations’ (PBA) players Jeron Teng (Alaska Aces,) Norbert Torres (Rain or Shine) and Thomas Torres got hurt during a brawl last Sunday morning in Taguig City.

According to GMA News reporter Mav Gonzales, they suffered from stab wounds, but Jeron and Thomas were in more serious condition and had to be rushed to St. Lukes BGC.
DLSU cager Thomas Torres will not be able to play for four to six weeks. Jeron and Norbert are both recovering in the hospital.

Two suspects have been apprehended, citing self-defense as the reason behind the stabbing.

Thomas Torres will be out for 4-6 weeks. He was stabbed in the triceps, tearing his muscle. He and Jeron Teng are both recovering in the hospital.

The police apprehended suspects Edmar Lacanlale and Williard Basili and are under investigation.
Several celebrities and athletes took to social media their reactions and all were praying for the speedy recovery of the three.
