
South Korean actor Lee Jung-jae had a memorable night in Paris as he recently attended the prestigious Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes.
The event was star-studded as it's a charity gala aimed at raising funds for hospitalized children and adolescents. Hosted by France's First Lady, Brigitte Macron, the fun dazzling event brought together some of the biggest names in entertainment.
What made Lee Jung-jae's night even more special was the opportunity to meet some of the world's most famous artists in person. Proud of his South Korean roots, the Squid Game star had the chance to greet K-pop sensations BTS's J-Hope, BLACKPINK's Rosé, and BIGBANG's G-Dragon.
In addition to a quick chat, Lee Jung-jae even snapped a selfie with the stars to capture the unforgettable moment. Fans couldn't help but notice how these K-pop artists, especially Rosé, couldn't hide their excitement in meeting the award-winning actor.
In a cute video, Rosé shyly pointed at Lee Jung-jae and exclaimed, "Daebak!" (meaning "how cool/awesome"). J-Hope also seemed to enjoy the encounter, laughing and sharing a playful moment with G-Dragon.
The night wasn't just about K-pop stars. Lee Jung-jae also met global superstars Katy Perry and John Legend. He even posed for a photo with French President Emmanuel Macron and the First Lady.
Besides selfies, the South Korean actor shared videos of the artists' performances at the event. He truly knew his followers wanted a behind-the-scenes look at the star-studded affair.
The post quickly garnered more than 1.2 million likes and 12,000 comments, with fans expressing their excitement to see so many of their favorite stars in one place.
Lee Jung-jae is famous for his iconic role as Seong Gi-hun in the thrilling hit series Squid Game.
He is set to return with the show entering its third season on June 27.
