The internet continues to buzz with reactions following the recently concluded Miss Universe 2025.
While many celebrated the winners and standout performances, others raised allegations and questioned the results of the judging panel.
Amid the trending discussions, this year's host Steve Byrne took to social media to share his experience at the annual pageant.
Along with photos featuring beauty queens and several event personalities, Steve expressed his gratitude for being part of the dazzling global event.
"It was an honor to host Miss Universe 2025. What an amazing experience. Bangkok, Thailand is such an amazing city! The food, the friendliness of all I've encountered, I can't wait to come back. It was a true privilege sharing the stage with 120 of the most beautiful women in the world. Thanks for having me!" he wrote.
But what caught netizens' attention was a particular selfie he posted during the pageant, one that showed him holding the official results card.
The card revealed a clear list of this year's winners, from Côte d'Ivoire as fourth runner-up to Mexico, who was crowned as Miss Universe 2025.
Netizens quickly flocked to the comment section with mixed reactions. Some even joked about linking Steve Byrne's situation to Steve Harvey's infamous announcement mishap.
The American comedian-actor also shared the selfie with the results in his Instagram Story.
Mexico's Fátima Bosch clinched the crown, with Thailand's Praveenar Singh, Venezuela's Vanessa Pulgarin, The Philippines' Ahtisa Manalo, and Côte d'Ivoire's Olivia Yacé rounding out the Top 5.
However, controversy escalated when resigned Miss Universe judge Omar Harfouch alleged that the results were rigged. He even called Fátima a “fake Miss Universe.”
The Lebanese-French musician further claimed that Miss Universe owner Raúl Rocha was “in business” with Fatima Bosch's father—an allegation that quickly fueled online debates.
