Stray Kids Felix

Felix was unable to attend Stray Kids' fan meeting on February 16 due to an injury from a minor traffic accident.

Felix Yongbuk Lee of the K-pop group Stray Kids was involved in a minor traffic accident on February 15.

The 24-year-old was heading home after the boy band's fan meeting in Incheon, South Korea, when a shuttle bus, moving slowly behind his vehicle, collided with its left rear side.

On the morning of February 16, the band's agency, JYP Entertainment, shared an update on their official social media accounts. “The accident itself was minor, but the momentary shift in Felix's weight onto his arm caused him to collide with the armrest inside the vehicle, resulting in a fracture,” the statement read.

“Immediately after the accident, Felix was quickly taken to the hospital for a thorough examination, where medical professionals advised that he needs adequate rest and proper treatment for the time being.”

JYP Entertainment updated fans again on social media in the afternoon of February 16. The agency explained that they visited multiple emergency rooms, but the medical examination took longer than expected due to the late-night timing of the accident and it was the weekend.

“Later on, following the medical staff's opinion, Felix was transferred to a higher-level general hospital, where he underwent an MRI scan and was examined by specialised faculty,” it said.

“Upon additional examination, it was determined that the fracture line seen on the initial X-ray was a childhood injury and, at the moment, there's a pinched nerve near that area.”

The agency also stated that it would make sure Felix receives proper health treatment according to their medical team's recommendations.

The eight-member group composed of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N hosted their fifth fan meeting, SKZ 5'Clock, at Inspire Arena from February 14 to 16. They will resume their Dominate World Tour in March, starting with performances in Santiago, Chile on March 27.

The group previously performed in the Philippines on November 23, 2024, at the Philippine Arena.
