Sue Ramirez and the rest of her family had a pretty tumultuous week with their mom, Concepcion “Chit” Garina undergoing open heart surgery last January 13.
The former 'Rewind' actress happily shared on Instagram Story that she finally got to talk to her mom.
When Sue Ramirez saw her awake, after the medical procedure for the first-time, she asked her: “Tinanong ko siya kung love niya ako, tumango siya sabi niya, oo daw. Hehe.”
She then reiterated her plea for everyone to continue to pray for her mom's speedy recovery. “Salamat sa prayers and well wishes niyo para sa kaniya. Patuloy lang po sana siyang maisama sa mga dasal niyo.”

Sue Ramirez is half-American and half-Pinay. Her dad is James Peter Dodd, while Mommy Concepcion hails from Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
