SUMY triumphed as the Ultimate Dance Star Duo of the second season of the hit original dance competition.

The dance floor witnessed its most electrifying showdown yet, as Stars On The Floor Season 2 staged its highly anticipated Grand Finale last Sunday, May 31, with one duo ultimately emerging victorious in the season's biggest dance battle.

After 16 weeks of breathtaking performances, intense challenges, and unforgettable transformations, Sugar Mercado and HORI7ON Jeromy—also known as SUMY—triumphed as the Ultimate Dance Star Duo of the 2nd season of the hit original dance competition.

Hosted by Asia's Multimedia Star and Box-Office King Alden Richards, the grand finale featured spectacular final performances from the season's five powerhouse Dance Star Duos, each collaborating with their chosen star choreographer to deliver their most ambitious showcase yet.

Joining Sugar and HORI7ON Jeromy in the grand finals were Jasmine Curtis-Smith x 1ST.ONE Joker, Rocco Nacino x KAIA Sophia, Paul Salas x CALISTA Denise, and Chanty x ALAMAT Jao.

Each duo pushed their creativity and artistry to the limit, presenting high-concept performances that blended storytelling, emotion, and world-class choreography on one stage.

Following the combined scores from The Dance Authority, led by Dance Hitmaker and Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, alongside Kapuso King of the Dance Floor Rayver Cruz and Dance Trend Master Coach Jay Joseph Roncesvalles, as well as The Dance Universe's online poll votes, the competition narrowed down to its top two duos.

Sugar x HORI7ON Jeromy and Chanty x ALAMAT Jao earned their spots in the season's ultimate Final Dance-Off.

In the end, it was Sugar and HORI7ON Jeromy who rose above the competition, delivering a finale performance that captured both the hearts and the approval of “The Dance Authority” and “The Dance Universe.”

“Lord Jesus Christ, maraming salamat! Sa mga anak ko, sa pamilya ni Jiro [Jeromy], sa inyong lahat—mula sa hosts, judges, coaches, stylists, sa mga nag-aayos ng mga buto namin, sa mga cameraman, sa mga boss—salamat po sa trabaho. Sa grupo ko SEXBOMB, eyyy!,” shared Sugar after being announced as the Ultimate Dance Star Duo.

HORI7ON Jeromy added, “Gusto kong magpasalamat sa Daddy ko. Sana proud na proud ka sa akin. And Mommy, I love you! Thank you so much for attending my finale. And especially 'yung mga boss po ng SOTF, GMA, and all the staff here—maraming salamat po sa mga tulong ninyo at sa walang hanggang suporta sa amin ni Ate Sugar. Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat. Adding to the excitement of the season-ender was a massive all-star performance featuring Alden, Marian, other judges, A-Team, and all the dance star duos in one unforgettable collaboration.
