K-drama heartthrob Sung Hoon cooks Korean beef stew in morning show 'Unang Hirit.'

Wednesday morning was filled with kilig vibes as South Korean actor Sung Hoon graced GMA's morning show Unang Hirit!

From the moment of his introduction, hosts Shaira Diaz and Mariz Umali couldn't hide their smiles as the K-drama star lit up the studio.

To make the visit even more special, Sung Hoon showed off his cooking skills by preparing one of Korea's classic comfort dishes: Korean beef stew.

The lively cooking segment was brimming with warmth as Shaira and Mariz eagerly asked about his stay in the Philippines.

Asked about the love and support he's been receiving, Sung Hoon admitted through his translator: "'Di niya po na-expect na marami po siyang fans dito. Pero kada balik niya dito, grabe po kasi 'yung welcome nila kaya overwhelmed po siya."

The K-drama star also charmed everyone with his Tagalog skills, sharing that he has learned simple words like “Salamat po” and “sayang.”

Adding to the fun, Shaira had her fangirl moment when she reenacted one of Sung Hoon's scene from his hit K-drama series Perfect Marriage Revenge.

"This is my dream. This is my audition piece," Shaira said with excitement, earning a smile from the actor who replied, "Aw, thank you. Salamat po."

Before wrapping up, Sung Hoon shared his excitement about meeting his Filipino fans at BENCH's Fashion Week 'SPACE AT ONE AYALA'.

"So he's gonna meet his fans at the 20th and then he's really excited for everything prepared. He hopes that everyone is excited about what he has in store for everyone," his translator added.

Sung Hoon remains one of Filipinos' favorite K-drama oppas, recently starring in Perfect Marriage Revenge (2023) alongside Jung Yoo-min. Fans also loved him in Woori the Virgin (2022), My Secret Romance (2017), and Oh My Venus (2015).

Meanwhile, Sung Hoon also charms fans in his social media pages with fun and aesthetic pictures and vlogs.
