Sunshine Cruz's triumph against her hacker from Turkey happened to be short-lived as the actress shared that her account may be temporarily deactivated for the time being.
On Facebook, the 43-year-old actress shared that her hacker is asking her to pay 1000€ (approximately PhP 58,000) or her Instagram will be “deleted.”
“Family and friends, if my Instagram suddenly disappears, just please be careful. Baka kasi gamitin ang account ko to do bad things. Please ingat po.
“I've been trying my best to resolve this but sadly, ayaw niya magpatinag.
“It's not easy to reach Instagram's Help Center.

In the comments, Geneva Cruz felt worried about her cousin's online safety and said, “Grabe cous! We aren't safe online!
“Pwede din hindi taga-Turkey 'yan. They can manipulate where they are… unless ipa-track natin talaga sa government. Trust me, taga dito yan.”
