Sunshine Dizon is back on track and excited with her first project after being away from showbiz for some time.
It was a much lean and fitter-looking Sunshine Dizon who showed up during the pictorial for the film Sundo last August 11. And clearly, she is back on track and excited with her first project after being away from showbiz for some time.

Though she is now obviously raring and ready to work anew, speculation was rife as to the
reasons behind her hiatus from work.
"I do have really bad migraine, and the only medication that would work for me…was a very strong pain killer [na] ini-injeksyonan ako. Then the doctors told me na…it would not be healthy for me if I continue on na parating ganun, so they made a plan to wean me off that medicine. Ngayon pag kunyari may migraine ako, I can take…[just a] tablet na lang," she said.
As regard rumors that Camille Prats stole the role intended for her in
Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan, she immediately put these to rest. "No, no, no, no, no. Walang ganun na nangyayari, it just so happens that…I couldn't give in to the demands of
Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan, and they [had] to replace me, di ba? And I think Camille is a very good choice," she stressed.

Before taking a short break from showbiz, Sunshine has proven her acting prowess in several top rating primetime shows, such as
La Vendetta, Bakekang and
Impostora.
However, her last film project was
Mulawin the Movie two years ago. Thus, she is really excited for being part of GMA Films’
Sundo, wherein she’ll also be working with Robin Padilla for the first time.
"I'm very excited and actually I still don't know what to expect kasi I haven't worked with him. But then you know I've always heard good things about him…I'm sure it will be very good experience to be working with him," she says.
Other Kapuso stars
Katrina Halili and Rhian Ramos are also part of
Sundo which began shooting this week. --
