Representatives from Label SJ and JYP Entertainment have released official statements
Super Junior member Heechul and TWICE's Momo have broken up, sources from their labels Label SJ and JYP Entertainment have revealed in official statements.
Prior to the statements, news outlet Star Today wrote a report on July 8 about a source who stated that Kim Heechul and Momo have parted ways.
The source explained, “From what I know, they drifted apart due to each of their busy schedules, so they ended their romantic relationship and returned to being colleagues and having a senior-and-junior relationship.”
A representative from Momo's label JYP Entertainment released a short statement on July 8 saying, "After confirming [with Momo], it's true that they have parted ways."
A representative from Heechul's Label SJ also released the following statement on the same day, "After confirming [with Heechul], it's true that they have parted ways. However, please understand that we cannot reveal more specific details regarding the issue, as it is a matter of the artist's privacy. Thank you."
After being linked to each other since August 2019, Heechul and Momo admitted their relationship to the public in January 2020.
