Dingdong Dantes talks about his own style of hosting Family Feud and his advocacy through the Yes Pinoy Foundation.
Isang masayang Pasko ang handog sa atin ng Family Feud as it kicks-off its episodes with our favorite leading man, Dingdong Dantes. At para naman sa ating Kapuso hunk, he considers it an honor to follow in the hosting heels of the dashing Richard Gomez and, at the same time, be active sa kawanggawa. Text by Erick Mataverde. "Isang malaking bagay for me because it's something different. But you'll see me until next year dito sa
Family Feud," said Dingdong Dantes, fresh from the success of his just concluded soap,
Stairway To Heaven.
"Well, for one, ang
Family Feud, the original franchise, ay ginagawa din 'yun," dagdag pa niya.
Kaya Dingdong promises an exciting time during his hosting of the game show because of this dahil “it is something that would add spice, and kapag ang mismong contestant na at audience na ang nag-request, kahit na requirement pa siya o hindi, ay gagawin at gagawin ko talaga 'yun."
Yes! to reading

And speaking of dedication to one's craft. He is actually actively involved in an education and literacy program through his Yes Pinoy Foundation in cooperation with a huge bookstore chain kung saan nila ine-encourage ang donasyon ng mga libro sa mga kabataang nangangailangan.
He admits na, if time permits, reading would be one of his priorities during his spare time.
"It is my frustration eh, kasi, bukod sa I don't have time, I tend to start and then halfway hindi ko siya natatapos dahil nai-interrupt so pag binalikan ko, kailangan ko ulit simulan. Pero although there are a couple na talagang siguro recently nag breeze through ako ng mabilis," he recalled.
"My last was
Tuesday's with Morrie (by Mitch Albom), isang swabe lang. Tapos 'yung,
For One More Day (also by Mitch Albom), inumpisahan ko.
Art of War (by Sun Tzu)," he added.
Dingdong ends the interview with an invitation to watch his latest show. "Maraming salamat po, and please spread the news to always continue to support
Family Feud. Dahil ang
Family Feud ngayon ay nationwide na. Everybody in the Philippines ay magkakaroon na ng chance para sumali."
