Sylvia Sanchez is finally back home after weeks of isolation in the hospital after testing positive for COVID-19.
On a Facebook post made Thursday morning, the acclaimed actress shared a smiling selfie in her own bedroom with the caption, “Salamat sa Diyos! Nakauwi na po ako matapos mag-negative sa COVID-19.”
However, Sylvia added that her husband, Art Atayde, had to remain in the hospital for another round of tests for the disease.
“Ang asawa ko po ay kailangan pang manatili ng 2-3 araw sa ospital para sa isa pang test.
“Maraming, maraming salamat sa inyong mga dasal!”
The said photo had already received more than 5,000 likes and 70 shares on the social media platform with fans sharing their well-wishes for the couple as they continuously combat the virus.
Yesterday, Sylvia openly shared the positive news that she's only “one negative test away” from being COVID-19 free.
She shares to her more than 500K followers on Instagram that she's grateful for all the frontline workers who have continually guided her throughout the process of recovery.
“Our heartfelt gratitude to these two doctors and the rest of their team for guiding me and my husband as we continue to fight COVID.
“With their help and with all your love and prayers, we are definitely on the road to recovery.”
Welcome home, Sylvia.
