Actress Sylvia Sanchez has so many things to be thankful for but none of them can compare to being able to “hug, kiss, play, and eat” with her whole family as she finally recovers from coronavirus.
In a post made yesterday, May 4, the acclaimed actress shared candid photos taken in her home which serves as a glimpse of her new life.
She then thanked all the people who sent their regards, but most of all, to the frontline medical workers who have given them time and attention as she recovers from the disease.
“Today I am grateful to God that He heard and answered our prayers. My husband and I are now okay and reunited with our children. Yahoo! Ang sarap sarap ng pakiramdam.
“Thank you to all the frontliners that took care of us and to those who continue to fight for everyone. It was not an easy fight but we won because of your unending prayers and love.”
In Jesus name…”
It was on March 24 when actress Sylvia Sanchez and husband Art Atayde experienced “chills and shortness of breath” that led them to take the COVID-19 swab test.
A week later, they received the test results that came out positive for the virus.
Last April 16, Sylvia was able to come home after weeks of isolation while her husband remained in the hospital for two or three more days for another test.
