
Korean artist Taeyang has released the first episode of his White Night documentary which chronicles parts of his White Night album production, world tour, married life, and stories before joining the army for his mandatory military service.

In the eight-part series, the BIGBANG member opened the 11-minute video sharing how music reveals his true self.
"I want people to really feel my true self. Who I am...at the end of the day, that is why I'm ultimately doing music, and why I'm in performing arts," he said.
The video also featured other BIGBANG members and staff members who praised him for being clear on his views yet considerate.

The video entitled The Midnight Sun was released on Taeyang's official YouTube channel (YGTAEYANG) on his 32nd birthday.

Taeyang also posted a lengthy birthday message expressing his gratitude for all his fans and gaining more stability in life as he turns 32.
He wrote, "Thank you for all your birthday wishes! I feel great turning 32 - and 33 in Korean age.
When I look at the number “33”, it gives me the feeling of stability and balance.
I hope to live my life with those principles. Thank you all for being with me for so long and for all the times we got to share together.They have been the greatest gift! ️"
Each episode of White Night will debut every Thursday and Monday in the following four weeks after the first episode.
