Taiwanese-American rapper, singer, and model Mark Tuan continues to extend his influence beyond music.
The "hyung," or oldest member of the popular South Korean boy band Got7 was recently announced as the newest face of Axe, the local fragrance brand for men.
Mark has long established himself in the global Entertainment industry as an endorser for megawatt brands, especially big fashion names. He has been known on the international stage with his unique"east meets west" vibes. He's fresh, bold, and finer than fine.
It didn't come as a surprise that a men's brand --- a local one at that --- wanted to leverage his celebrity. A quick browse through his Instagram would tell you that he's a man who knows how to take care of himself: he's got a great sense of style, good skin, an enviable fit body, and a charming personality that can sweep any type of girl off her feet. No wonder he's the perfect endorser!
This is not the first time Mark Tuan had a "connection" with the Philippines. Mark has always had an affinity with the Philippines and the Filipinos. Aside from his fans and friends, Mark has developed a liking for the country because he saw first-hand the beauty of some local tourist destinations. In January 2024, days before his 'The Other Side Asia Tour 2024' solo concert at the Skydome in Quezon City, Mark Tuan made a quick detour with his friends to the Daranak Falls, a popular natural resort in Tanay, Rizal.
Fans were quick to flood the comments section of his Instagram post with messages of surprise and thanks. Some even jested that if they knew about his visit, they would have gone swimming in Daranak Falls as well.
