After her convincing portrayal as the villainess in 'MariMar,' Katrina Halili is now prepared to tackle further challenging roles as a leading lady, this time as the protagonist in the drama anthology 'Obra.' "Sa ngayon kasi pag hindi ako nag-stop ng kakatanggap ng kontrabida puro ganun yung ibibigay sa akin, eh gusto ma-challenge naman di ba? Gusto ko ng acting, gusto ng drama, gusto ko ng iba-iba, ayaw ko ng lagi namang maldita," she says. The new show, Obra, which topbills Katrina, will no less be directed by veteran directors such as Joel Lamangan, Maryo J. DelosReyes, Jun Lana and Bibeth Orteza. "Panibagong challenge for me, at saka maraming salamat sa GMA-7 [at] ako yung pinagkatiwalaan nila na magpilot ng Obra," Katrina says about being given the lead role in this drama. In regard to her being paired with 'Bad Boy' Robin Padilla, Katrina continues: "Well, inaantay ko na siya! 'Di ba? Siyempre Robin Padilla po yun so ibang level naman.
