Kapuso leading lady Louise delos Reyes signed a three-year exclusive contract with GMA Network on November 8.

Kapuso leading lady Louise de los Reyes signed a three-year exclusive contract with GMA Network on November 8. Present at the event were GMA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, GMA Films President Annette Gozon-Abrogar, GMA Entertainment TV’s Officer-in-Charge Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMA Vice-President for Drama Productions, Redgie Acuna-Magno and Ms. Gigi Santiago- Lara, AVP for Alternative Productions.

Louise delos Reyes started out in cutesy roles for television. One of her earliest roles was as Luisa in Tweet Hearts. She got her biggest break when she took on the role of Adana in Alakdana, where she first teamed up with Alden Richards. Their loveteam proved to be successful and they had two more projects together, namely One True Love and Mundo Mo’y Akin. Louise currently appears weekly in Sunday All Stars.

When asked how it felt to have her contract renewed, Louise replied, “Actually po, iba ‘yung pakiramdam. Katulad ng sinabi ni Atty. Gozon, nilalamig talaga ‘yung kamay ko kasi para sa akin, it’s a dream come true and I am very overwhelmed and talagang masaya ako na nangyari ito.”

“Ako po, talagang Kapuso ako. Noon pa man, talagang sinabi ko sa sarili ko na GMA ang nagbigay sa akin ng malaking break at tatanawin ko talaga itong utang na loob sa kanila, at siyempre, mahal na mahal ko ang Kapuso network,” she added.

She credits her team-up with Alden Richards for helping her boost her career. Louise stated, “Siguro po malaking bagay din ‘yun kasi halos sabay lang kaming nag-start. Nakita ng mga tao kung paano kami nag-evolve as an artist, kung paano nag-iba ‘yung pakikitungo namin sa isa’t isa.”

Given the chance to have a different leading man, Louise stated that she wants to work with My Husband’s Lover actor Tom Rodriguez.

She explained, “Ever since na nag-start dito si Tom [Rodriguez]…kasi iba rin ‘yung dating niya. Sobrang approachable niya na tao at saka sobrang bait niya at dinrawing niya ako sa Sunday All Stars noong nag-guest siya doon.”

GMA Chairman and CEO Atty Felipe L. Gozon was all praises for Louise, and gave this statement: “Itong pinirmahan natin ngayong hapon ay renewal lamang, at iyan ang nagpapatunay na sa ating pananaw, talagang magagaling itong mga artistang nirerenew natin at dapat lamang na bigyan natin ng magagandang projects.”
