Tanya Ramos is one of GMA Network's newest teen stars. The actress-singer is also among the aspiring young stars launched by the Sparkle GMA Artist Center through Sparkada in April 2022.

Besides acting, Tanya also has a passion for singing. In fact, she released a song under GMA Playlist, "Walang Paalam," last November.

According to Tanya, at first, she did not consider singing to be her talent. She said, "Maybe I just sing because I enjoy it or as a hobby.”

"And then, when I was young I was actually picked to compete sa school. Ever since that competition, I took it seriously na and a lot of people are actually believing na I have this talent in singing,” she continued.

"So parang kinarir ko s'ya ever since that competition and I started to focus more on it, which is nag-attend ako ng mga singing workshop for me to know what to improve more on my voice and my singing range."

Since joining a singing competition at their school, Tanya has become passionate about music, especially singing. Because of this, she learned to play different musical instruments which she now uses to compose her own songs.

"Ever since I was a kid I have really enjoyed singing. Actually, it started with my family and my dad (Wendell Ramos) really loves to sing. Maybe that's where my brother and I found our passion for music, " she added.

Meanwhile, Tanya is one of the cast of GMA's updated kilig series Luv is: Caught in His Arms, which will air this January on GMA.
