Taylor Swift has once again won a prestigious award!

Taylor Swift's unstoppable momentum continues as she adds another major achievement to her collection this year.

Recently, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) named Taylor the Global Recording Artist of the Year, marking her fifth win at this prestigious award in three consecutive years.

2024 has truly been a record-breaking year for the pop sensation, who has also claimed four other significant IFPI honors. These include recognition on the Global Album Chart, Global Vinyl Album Chart, Global Streaming Album Chart, and Global Album Sales Chart, all thanks to the phenomenal success of her latest album, "THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT", released in April.

Taylor's "The Eras Tour" played a significant role in boosting global fan engagement, driving her entire catalog's popularity on streaming platforms worldwide.

This surge in fan activity was evident in the impressive rankings of her previous albums: "1989 (Taylor's Version) (2023)", "Midnights (2022)", "folklore (2020)", "evermore (2020)", and "Lover (2019)", all of which landed in the Top 20 of IFPI's 2024 Global Vinyl Album Chart. This remarkable achievement highlights both Taylor's dedicated fanbase and the enduring popularity of her music.

CEO of IFPI Victoria Oakley commented, “We are immensely proud to award the IFPI Global Recording Artist of the Year Award to Taylor Swift for the fifth time, as she continues to redefine the limits of global success."

She added, “This has been a huge year for Taylor, and it has been incredible to see the extent to which fans all over the world are connecting with her superb catalogue of music.”

Other artists, such as Zach Bryan and Sabrina Carpenter, made their first appearances in the Top 10 of the Global Recording Artist Chart. In the Global Streaming Album Chart, Noah Kahan, Benson Boone, Chappell Roan, and Teddy Swims all featured for the first time.

Additionally, Taylor Swift dominated Billboard's Top Artists of the 21st Century chart, earning recognition for her extraordinary success across both the Billboard 200 albums chart and the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart from 2000 to 2024.
