Dalawang seasoned actress ang makakasama nina Jillian Ward at Michael Sager sa pinakabagong GMA Prime romcom series na My Ilonggo Girl na magsisimula ng umere sa darating na January 13.

Gaganap bilang Vivian ang versatile actress na si Teresa Loyzaga, ang controlling mother ni Venice (Jillian Ward) na isang famous actress at influencer.

Samantala, ipo-portray naman ni Arlene ang role bilang mapagmahal na ina ni Tata (Jillian Ward) na ang pangalan ay Shirley o 'Nay Gwapa.' Si Tata ang doppelganger ni Venice sa kuwento ng My Ilonggo Girl.

Sa ginanap ng grand media conference ng Kapuso primetime series kahapon (January 9), pinuri ni Arlene ang mga bida ng kanilang show. Ayon sa kaniya, “palatawa” raw si Michael at nag-enjoy din siyang katrabaho si Jillian.

“Tapos working with them, 'di ba Teresa, is so easy. Itong si Michael he's always smiling, umaga man, madaling araw. Kahit ano'ng oras ng araw laging nakatawa,” sabi ni Arlene.

“[And Jillian] you are such a dear, you are such an easy person to work with. I love you so much.”

Tila reunion naman para kay Teresa Loyzaga at Jillian ang My Ilonggo Girl dahil nagkatrabaho na sila noon sa My Special Tatay (2018-2019).

Kuwento ni Teresa nang maka-eksena ang Star of the New Gen, “Jillian and I have worked together before in My Special Tatay, so seeing each other again she's really like my daughter. It's very easy, but minsan 'yung pagtataray niya [she will ask me], 'Tita, paano 'pag ganito?

“Tapos sasabihin ko, isipin mo lang 'yung ganiyan. Our rapport is very good.”

Natutuwa rin siya pagiging sweet ni Michal sa tuwing may taping lalo na sa kanilang mga veteran actors.

“And for the new ones like si Michael, I really appreciate he goes out of his way to say hello to kaming mga medyo may edad na. It makes work easy, when you know everyone is willing, the young ones with the older ones. And, the older ones with the young ones and it's a very happy set we have.”

Nang matanong ng GMANetwork.com si Michael sa mga magagandang sinabi nina Miss Teresa at Miss Arlene tungkol sa kaniya, sinabi nito na “mahalaga” sa kaniya na maganda ang working environment sa mga show na kinabibilangan niya.

Lahad ng Kapuso actor, “In general it's important to have a good set, happy set. And I really cherish the times na may shows ako, kasi 'yun ang nagiging family ko. I mean, almost every other day nagkikita kami, of course they are my elders and I respect them. They are the people who are the 'greats' right in this industry.

“So, kumbaga ang simple 'Hi lang' if that's all I can do, I want to say 'Hi' kasi it's an honor being able to work with them.”
