Hindi raw alam ni Tessa noon na lesbian ang partner niyang si Irene noong sila ay unang nagkakilala.

"Hindi ko alam that she's a lesbian. I was praying then, after that, I saw my partner now, her name's Irene...'Yun pala she liked me. I'm so likeable."

Saad pa niya, ngayon ay masasabi niyang masaya siya sa piling ni Irene.

"I feel that finally somebody I don't have to justify her to my parents and to myself."

Dugtong pa niya, "I guess you know times have changed. So I am finally, of course, in the beginning, it took we're always constantly fighting because we're just opposite. And she's very money driven, you know negosyo, Chinese style, and I'm like love love love. And so again I'm too much, right, so this time around, okay, if I'm too much, give me more so she gives me more."

Isa pa sa mga isinapubliko ni Tessa ay ang pag-unawa sa isa't isa.

"We are now finally, finally accepting of our traumas of the exes and everything. So, now we have so much love and respect."

Pagdating naman sa pagiging public figure ni Tessa, sinabi niyang tanggap ito ng kaniyang partner.

"She's okay with it. I think she enjoys it na. She's like zero social media."

Tinanong pa ng host na si Boy Abunda kung ano ang baon niya sa relasyon na ito pagkatapos ng lahat ng pinagdaanan niya.

Sagot ni Tessa, "Feeling ko finally somebody is able to match my energy in everything, financially, emotionally. And we're at an age, she accepts my family first and foremost. That's so important to me. And my family accepts her."
