Angelu de Leon, Kim de los Santos

'T.G.I.S.' stars Angelu de Leon and Kim de los Santos reunited for an outreach progam.

Actresses and '90s teen stars Angelu de Leon and Kim de los Santos have reunited recently.

The two starred in the hit youth-oriented show T.G.I.S. back in the '90s.

Angelu remained active in showbiz alongside serving as a councilor in Pasig, while Kim migrated to the United States and worked as a nurse.

On her Facebook account, Angelu shared a selfie of her and Kim which delighted many of their fans from way back.

"REUNITED Mag ingay Batang 90s! Peachy and Tere!" she wrote in the caption of her post, referring to their characters in T.G.I.S.

The reunion was for a good cause as it was a relief operation for people affected by Typhoon Carina.

Angelu revealed that Kim herself organized a fundraising activity after hearing about the devastation brought about by the strong typhoon.

Kim then contacted Angelu to seek help on how to get these donations to people who need them.

"Relief Distribution mula sa aking kaibigan Kim Delos Santos.

"Si Kim ngayon ay base na sa Amerika at isang certified nurse. Nung nakita niya ang nangyari sa ating lungsod nung tumama ang Bagyong Carina ay agad siyang nakipag-ugnayan sa atin para makapaghatid ng tulong.

"Gumawa siya ng fund raising sa Amerika para makalikom ng tulong para sa Pasigueño.

"Nakakatuwang malaman na maraming Pilipino rin ang nag-abot ng tulong sa kapwa Pilipino," Angelu wrote on Facebook as she shared a short video of them distributing relief goods.

Angelu stars in the GMA Prime series Pulang Araw, a family drama set in the Philippines during World War II.

Meanwhile, Kim recently got her certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
