For Bianca King, reviving a role that launched the career of critically respected actress, Jackie Lou Blanco is truly an honor for this pretty actress, “It’s such a prestige I was chosen for the role. It’s really flattering that the management thought I could handle a role like this.” stars Aside from the pride, another thing that keeps Bianca excited is the evolution of her character from the original movie, “Taking it from how the character was written; now it’s more complex and deep than the original character in the movie.” Bianca also adds that the character has its own set of challenges, some may be difficult, but like any of the roles she’s done in the past, Bianca commits herself to giving it all she’s got. “I’ve done quite a few and they all have their own personalities, so this one I’m still trying to figure out what I’m gonna do. When I have the script that’s when the fun starts” laughs Bianca. Acting out a character that is different from the actor’s real life personality may be hard, but for Bianca, Trixie Moreno is someone she could really relate to. Most of her past roles were either psychotic kontrabidas or a mythical being from a fantaserye, “I think this is the most relatable, the other characters I portray. They [were] just fun to watch cause it’s a fantasy, pero what I’m trying to do with this character is be someone that people can look up to.” stars From Bad to Good Bianca may have immortalized herself as the “mean girl”, but she hopes that she can change all that with her role in My Only Love, “I try to set a good example in it. I’ve done cool things na in TV shows. Kaya with this sana I can deliver it in such a way [viewers will] not to hate me. I really want to do this differently talaga.” Transforming to the girl next door wasn’t that easy, especially if you’ve bee bad for a long time, “Nung unang taping day namin nahirapan ako, I felt like I was acting [too] much. When I’m doing a kontrabida roles, I don’t think, I just memorize my lines and it goes out naturally.” But Trixie is different, she’s the perfect sister and daughter, “But when I deliver my lines [here] mahinhin and sweet tones, parang I formulate the delivery of lines in my head pa.” The road was rough at first but Bianca has already adjusted to her 180 degree career change, “When I see myself in the monitor, naninibago ako sa sarili ko. I’m sure everyone who has seen my shows in the past, sobrang maninibago sila.” stars Be sure to catch Bianca as Trixie Moreno, daily on My Only Love only on GMA.
