K-pop group The Boyz beat six other boy bands in Road to Kingdom's finale.

Korean boy group The Boyz won first place in the Korean survival TV program Road to Kingdom, which aired its finale on June 18.

The Boyz beat other groups included in the match, namely PENTAGON, VERIVERY, ONF, Golden Child, ONEUS, and TOO.

The grand winner was determined by online votes during the live finale broadcast, as well as the cumulative scores of their competitions from Rounds 1 to 3, cumulative video views of clips through Mnet's official YouTube and Naver TV accounts, and their digital scores from Hanteo chart.

Each group had a song released on June 12. Online votes from international fans through Whosfan app accounted for 30% of the live broadcast score, while domestic text votes made up the 70%.

Before the live finale, the group scores revealed The Boyz were at number one, followed by ONF, PENTAGON, ONEUS, and VERIVERY.

The teams then performed their finale songs before voting ended.

VERIVERY - “Beautiful-x”

ONEUS - "Come Back Home"

PENTAGON - “Basquiat”

ONF - “New World”

The Boyz - “Checkmate”

The Boyz's Hyunjae, ONF's Hyojin, PENTAGON's Hui, ONEUS's Seoho, and VERIVERY's Yeonho also performed a cover of BTOB's “It's Okay.”

Members of The Boyz will now have access to The Kingdom, another reality show that will air later this year.
