The Catsup Museum

Time to visit The Catsup Museum's halls via their very first 360-degree virtual tour!

If you're a parent, you may have been trying different trivial things to keep your kids entertained and at the same time educated throughout the lockdown.

But with the wide range of materials available on the internet, it can be quite difficult to find the right balance between the two.

Fortunately, the world's first and only Catsup Museum is opening its doors online for parents and kids to wander as they introduce their very first virtual tour this July!

The virtual tour will consist of interactive modules and exhibits that'll provide some amazing facts and trivia with the help of their banana guide named Maru.

Maru will help you navigate around the interactive exhibits of the museum while giving an in-depth commentary and mini-quizzes per area.

And if that's not enough, the tour also offers a 360-degree viewing allowing audiences to click and drag their mouse or mobile phones around to see every angle of the museum.

With the help of the guide, parents and kids can virtually walk down the halls of the Natural History of Banana, the Maria Ylagan Orosa Hall, the Manufacturing Hall, and the Banquet Hall to learn more about the history of the well-loved and uniquely Filipino banana catsup.

For kids who are into games, The Catsup Museum will also be launching an interactive module called “Banana 101” where they can enjoy a series of entertaining activities about the banana, its life cycle, and how they are grown and processed into the food we eat.

The Catsup Museum's virtual tour and future digital resources are part of their “Homeschool: Masarap Matuto, Masaya Mag-Aral” campaign to spark every child's curiosity in learning and promote Filipino virtues of ingenuity, resourcefulness, and hard work.

Founded in 2017, The Catsup Museum was made by NutriAsia in partnership with The Mind Museum.
