The Heirs

This marks a new beginning for Ian and Emma

Ian and Emma are marking a new start on their story as they finally step foot on the highly-acclaimed institution in South Korea, Jaeguk High School, this week on The Heirs.

After their short but sweet glimpse of the American dream, the pair comes back to their home country now that Emma has finally accepted her and her mother's fate that they are not likely to see her sister again after she lied to them about her life in America.

Meanwhile, thanks to Ian's brother, Wilson, he can finally breathe Korean air and come back to where he came from.

Their taste of home, however, would not last forever as this is only the start of their new adventures and mishaps after becoming official students of Jaeguk High School.

Leo, Ian's ex-best friend, is only just a dot of their problems, especially since he is keen on getting involved with Emma, knowing it would get him on Ian's nerves.

Not only will he pester Emma, but other students who are like the latter and are considered “outcasts” of the school due to their economic status, which would also be a problem for Ian and Emma.

While financial problems and economic status are the least of worries for Ian, they are everything for Emma now that she is living under the same roof as he is. Although Ian tried not to let Emma figure it out, the universe brought them closer to each other.

This connection is something Jaeguk High School, Leo, or Rachel could not break.

But will Emma let it get in the way of her story with Ian?

What about their new life in Jaeguk High School? Is it going to be as pleasant as those students who are future heirs of Korea?

Catch it all on The Heirs, Monday-Friday, every 2:30 p.m. only on GTV.
